Well, We Must Be Doing Something Right...

On Monday evening, our five year-old sat in the bathroom, vomit on his jammie sleeves. He lowered his eyes and shook his head. "I can't go to school tomorrow."

He paused.

"I will miss library and I like library. I like changing my book." He pushed out his pouty lip and sighed.

And then he threw up again.

  1. Fantastic! Love that. Maybe some of it will rub off on Carlos soon. We read, we draw, we try to make time, but he still insists gym is his favorite subject.

  2. He is happy when he is reading about hockey... And it's not about liking reading/ writing to the exclusion of other things. Maybe he's just well-rounded! Fran would insist that flashlights are his favorite thing.

I am assuming the book-love and not the germs were what you wanted to "rub off"?
